Beware of the Energy in Your Photos!
Feng Shui is a language of symbols and the photographs in our homes are symbols and a huge influence on the energy of our environment, so when you're choosing photographs to display in your home keep this in mind. What was happening at the time a photo was taken influences the energy of the room it's displayed in now.
If you have a family photo where everyone appears to be smiley and happy, that was taken moments after your Uncle Charlie ~ who had one glass of wine too many ~ insulted your lovingly prepared Thanksgiving Dinner, you'll remember that nasty vibe, consciously or subconsciously every time you see that photo. Even though you may love the people in the shot, the negative energy isn't doing you or your present environment any good at all.

The way you group those photos will also influence your current relationships. Think about this. Your daughter Sally was away at school when the most recent photo of your children was taken. You love Sally just as much as the rest of the kids, but your relationship with her has always been a bit strained. It's extremely important to you, to have her represented where you display your photos, so you place a single shot of her on the wall next to the one of your other 16 kids. Now Sally comes home for the holidays, checks out the photo wall and sees herself segregated from the rest of her siblings. Just think about the negative effect that could have on her and your relationship!
Harmonious, balanced energy lifts our Spirits and inspires us to live as the Divine beings we are, so take a look around your home. If every photo displayed doesn't recall the best possible memories. It's time to create new and joyful ones!
