Your Home is Your Mirror!

Our homes and our workspaces are mirrors of ourselves. The objects in these places have a definite influence on how we feel everyday. Every object is made of molecules and those molecules vibrate in sync with the energy that surrounds them. So, if you have furniture you really don't like, you can be sure it doesn't like you either! It reflects the energy its receiving right back to you! If you have a weird statue, that makes you crazy because it came from your partner's Aunt Ethel, who makes you squirm, pass it on to someone else who will give it the love it deserves!

The objects in our homes and offices are also full of symbolism. If you've got your Feng Shui eyes wide open, everybody's environment will give you huge clues about who they really are and despite what they say, what they truly want. These objects are not random and they never lie.

I'll tell you a little story. I was visiting my good friend in her home a while back. She's a very hip, downtown Toronto women, likeable in everyway. She's smart, funny, attractive ~ but she's gotten to the point where she's given up on relationships. She doesn't complain about it, to her it just is what it is. So, I was sitting in her bathroom ~ taking in the scenery ~ checking out the pictures on the walls and I notice ~ there are two of pictures of beautiful single women.

Now I start Feng Shui-ing her whole place in my head and remember I've seen similar artwork in her living room ~ in her kitchen ~ her dining room ~ bedroom. I quickly finish up and ask her if I can make a Feng Shui observation. (It's never a great idea to offer anybody any kind of advice without asking permission.) So I say to her. "Do you realize your home is filled with artwork of SINGLE women?" "What do you mean?" "I mean there are isn't one happy relationship represented in the whole place. The subconscious message you send out to every man who walks through your door is 'I'm happy being single. Don't bother trying.'" The symbols were all there. Her home was a mirror of herself.

So now it's your turn. Take some time to survey your own environment and ask yourself if your surroundings are truly helping you manifest your heart's desire.
